Where we're at

So here it goes, my wife and I have purchased a craftsman style bungalow in a small New England town. The house was fairly well cared for by its previous owners, but much of the magic of a this architectural style has been lost through the years.
While we're on a limited budget, a new family with a baby on the way, my wife and I are both determined to renovate our bungalow back to its original glory, however long that may take. It will take some time, and some bruised knuckles and probably lots of visits to the lumber and home improvement yards along the way, but we're looking forward to a great journey.
Because there are other people I'm sure in our position, I wanted to write a blog about our adventures in paint, mortar and wood, share our experiences, our successes and failures along the way.
Those who are on similar journeys are always more than welcome to provide their input and advice while sharing their own adventures restoring these beautifully crafted homes back to their original glories.
